WARNING! LONG ENTRY!
Yesterday and today, my gals { the onli 6 gals in the class} went to help out in the NDP concert. so ytd was the rehearsal, after compro test we went down to help. First was the tying of the balloons, next was the blowing. Thankfully, we had the machine to help us blow (the machine super cool! how i wish we had that back in sec sch where we blew till our mouths turned white! pls stare at CHUA!)yeah.. Aishah and I were blowing up the balloons whereas Wanyee, LILI , weiwei and gab went to carry the boxes from the second level's storeroom. It's quite tiresome to move those load, even me seeing them moving up and down.
After getting those boxes down, we have to open it, and placed those goodie bags on each of the chairs IN THE CONVENTION CENTER! yeah.. (see, we were doing SAI KANG job) BUT WE WERE HAVING FUN!wahahaha.. we managed to finish it before we went to ECH to pick those little kids. Cause the kids had an item to perform for the concert. what i can say is "SUPER TEDIOUS! I think i can handle a group of kids man!" inidividual still can, or shall i say, it drains myself quite alot. reminisce a few years back where i helped to shower my cousin. lolx.
Extiting and Entering the Convention so many times that we saw 2 tables of catered food! yeah! foodie!!! and then when were to have our meal, Mr Low asked us to look after the EE division float (there's a competition for the schools) so we helped to look after for almost half an hour. Meanwhile, LILi and i went to do some Sai Kang job again..
So there were too many boxes of goodie bags on level one, so we have to moved it to level two's storeroom again. last minute, our math lecturer, who was the in-charge too, told or shld said (shouted across from downstairs, saying shld leave some for the first two roles of seats. (there weren't goodies for those 2 roles) and to save the movement of taking the lifts up and down, we decided to pass from below. so Wei wei climbed up the seats so that we can passed it to her. It wasnt that dangerous, and somehow she was reprimanded by some UNCLES who latered came and scolded me too.. saying we've spoiled the flag..it's not a BIG DEAL PLS! plus they saw-ed a few threads over it as though it will not "break" easily! fortunately i've rubberband in hand, and TIED IT UP LAH! so irritating! it's not a big deal pls!
it was till very late that we had our dinner. By the time we went, many of the food was cleared. :( was still hungry, and Mrs Lee decided to call Mac for us ! how nice is my math Lect. !! LOVES LOVES so, everyone asked me to call ;/ as usual..lolx. i was giving the mac staff a hard time man..cause i wasnt sure with the order that i confused her so much..lolx after dinner, watched a bit of show, and went home. It WAS super nice of GAB and LILi to wait together with me for my MAMA.. THANKS THANKS
TODAY!
the actual day, didnt really catch much of the performance. Luckily watched a bit of it yesterday. Cause the kids came in earlier..so we have to entertained them :/ by the time was their turn, it was towards the end of the performance :(( yeah.
after that, we went to clear the place (again SAI KANG job) AVT IS BAO KAO LIAO! tt's wad our Advisor said all the time..lolx.
putting up and taking down those decor are PAINSTAKING PLease! especially those balloons tied at the rails No scissors, and those strings were super tied to tear that i decided to use my keys to cut them! irritating! dunno who's the IDIOT who anyhows tie them.No basic skills at all confirm not from military group!! Cause at the end of celebration, they threw confetti, so we sorta helped to clean up too..few pics below for u to enjoy
