so the setting was in the room, when i was still sleeping..

mom: aye, (ste)phanie when's ur piano exam again?
me: this friday! how many times already..
mom: ohs..... (so JL style pls~ quiet for a moment)
do you know that grandma's house was broke into through the kitchen's window?
me: hmm (no show of concern :/ )
mom : and your dad lost his handphone again (His new N95)
me: then he deserved it, lost so many times already
mom: then ...........
mom: no, the police caught the burglar and handphone is with the police
and needs evidence to prove that the handphone is his

mom: yeah ..... (paused again~)

me: so you want me to go back right!

and she walked out of the room laughing! smack head!! mother's ulterior motive very obvious. seldom she will sit on my bed and talk to me about [updates of family-relative problems]
see!see!see! holidays too long, mom will ask you to run errands and stuff. or, in order not to be an eyesore, she asked me when learn to drive in my hometown
