Tears welled up in my eyes. It was after a while that it actually trickled down my cheeks. Watching the continuous footage of the Sichuan's aftermath. young and old trapped in those rubble, waiting for help. However one interview really struck me. It was a Geo. teacher asking students to run for their lives and he protected 4 of his students using his back. All of the students were saved, but he isn't.
usually watching news is to get an update of the world happening around us. And it's just a piece of information. This time i guess i had a different approach to this news. Really, 14 days to soaked into the locals' lives, made us a true villager. It just so saddening to see so many people dying. It was till the extend that the population of that county left 1/3. oh my goodness!!!
Many children became Orphans overnight. How are they going to cope with it?
Losing so many cared ones would be difficult for a survivor too. I guess many would go bongus!!
Golden 72 hours passed. i hope those still able to persevere and hand in there. Definitely able to get out of those rubble.
seeing the leader of china, premier Wen JiaBao, telling the people not to give up, crying, really made all very heartache. (there'a a pic in ST.)
Natural Disasters had struck many Asian countries now.
Myanmmar- Cyclone.
India- Sand dunno what.
so how long more to have to really see? i think the time is here soon.
